Counting up rather than down

For anything where the point is how long it took rather than how long is left — a lap, a practical, a fluency read. Same clock handling as the countdown: it reads the system clock rather than counting ticks, so switching to your slides does not lose it time.

Sized for the room

At fifteen per cent of viewport height the digits stay readable from the back of a long room, and presentation mode removes everything else. That matters more than it sounds on a 1024 by 768 projector, where browser chrome takes a fifth of the screen before anything of yours is drawn.

Common questions

Does it keep time in a background tab?

Yes. It reads the clock rather than counting, so throttling does not affect it.

Can I pause and resume?

Yes, and reset returns it to zero.

Is there a countdown too?

Yes — the classroom timer counts down and can be adjusted mid-run.
